⁴³ All the prophets ·say it is true [witnessed; testified] that all who believe in Jesus will be forgiven of their sins through Jesus’ name.”

⁴⁴ While Peter was still saying ·this [^Lthese words], the Holy Spirit ·came down [^Lfell] on all those who ·were listening [^Lheard the word/message]. ⁴⁵ The ·Jewish [^Lcircumcised] believers who came with Peter were ·amazed [astonished] that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been ·given [^Lpoured out] even to the ·nations [Gentiles].
